Check-in & Briefing

After boarding the boat, our staff walks you through the tour flow and safety rules. Breathing techniques and underwater movements are explained clearly — first-timers are very welcome.

Put On Your Helmet

Once we arrive at the dive site, you’ll put on the special air-fed helmet. Your face stays dry throughout — perfect even if you’re not comfortable in the water.

Gentle Entry into the Ocean

With staff support, you’ll descend via a ladder at your own pace. We check your ear equalization as you head toward the seafloor.

Start Your Seafloor Stroll

Crystal-clear water, vibrant tropical fish, and stunning coral reefs await. It feels like walking through a real aquarium.

Meet the Fish & Photo Time

Colorful fish will swim right up to greet you. Our staff captures it all on camera so you’ll have amazing keepsakes from Ishigaki Island.

Tour End & Return to Port

Staff escort you safely back to the boat and we head to shore. Total time: approx. 2 hours. A beginner-friendly experience from start to finish.

I’d wanted to try Sea Walking for years and finally made it the highlight of my Ishigaki trip. The staff were incredibly kind and I had a fantastic time from start to finish! Your face stays dry, breathing feels completely normal, yet you’re underwater watching fish up close — it felt like being inside a movie. You can see each other’s expressions the whole time, which made sharing the excitement even more special. They took tons of photos and videos for us, and I’ve been looking back at them ever since. Truly recommended for all ages!

We got a pickup from our hotel so finding the spot was easy! We happened to be the only guests that session so it felt like a private tour. They started taking photos and videos even on the boat ride over! The safety briefing was thorough so I felt calm the whole time. When we got underwater — it was a paradise of fish! The staff went at our pace and checked on us constantly. Super friendly team, and we had an amazing time all the way to the end. If you’re doing Sea Walking on Ishigaki, this is THE place!

I’ve visited Okinawa’s outer islands for years but always struggled to fully enjoy snorkeling or diving — I’d spend the whole time just trying to keep up with everyone. Sea Walking had been on my radar for a while, and the detailed pre-tour explanation put me completely at ease. My first seafloor walk was genuinely amazing! I want everyone to see what’s down there. Can I join even if I can’t swim

Absolutely! The helmet continuously supplies fresh air, so you can enjoy the underwater walk safely without any swimming ability.

What is the age requirement?

Guests aged 10–65 in good physical and mental health are welcome to participate.

What should I bring?

Please bring a swimsuit, towel, water/drinks, and a change of clothes. A paid shower station is available within walking distance of the dock.
